The primary aim of the design was to create a serene and contemplative space for visitors, while also meeting the operational requirements of its location within an industrial zone.

All programmatic units are organized on a single level, aiming for a gentle integration of the building’s volumes into the lush natural surroundings. The structure consists of a series of prismatic volumes connected by a long circulation corridor, while smaller courtyards and recesses provide separation. Skylight prisms pierce the unified roof, allowing natural light to enter from above into spaces where emotionally charged activities take place. White walls act as a tool for managing incoming light, functioning like an invisible mirror. The familiar element of the courtyard, as an intermediary condition between interior and exterior, is repeated at two different scales. One extends from the refreshment areas and the ceremonial hall, while the other runs along the building’s large facade, serving as a separation between the individual volumes.
