KRN

The project entails the renovation of a 185 sq.m. apartment in a three-story 1970s building located in P. Psychiko. The apartment follows a free-standing layout and is situated in a quiet neighborhood, overlooking a park with dense greenery. The renovation objectives included the addition of new functions (WC, guest room, laundry) and the energy upgrade of the residence.

The redesign focused on grouping public and private areas and improving circulation. A key design element was maximizing natural light in darker central areas and creating new visual connections. The energy upgrade required new windows, flooring, fireplace, and HVAC systems, blending contemporary techniques with the apartment’s original style. Custom-made furniture was designed to meet storage needs and integrate the cooling system. Select architectural features were preserved or repaired to maintain the apartment’s character while making it more functional and modern.
